Important changes are set to take place tomorrow (1st of April 2020), affecting the Police 101 Single Non-Emergency Number (SNEN). This change is intended to be permanent. Although it will of course help under current circumstances, the revised pricing will not change after the Coronavirus Pandemic.
So far, calls to the number have had a cost associated (15 pence per call). But after the 1st of April, calls to 101 will be free.
